1. Company and scope

This website presents editorial content and a selection of personal jewellery and keepsake storage cases associated with F&M Cases Ltd. These terms govern use of the website and the request process. They do not replace any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply under Canadian or provincial law.

Use of the website does not by itself establish an agreement to purchase a product. Any completed transaction requires a separate review of the applicable product details and final terms.

2. Editorial content and representations

The account of a couple discovering an old case in a Canadian garden is an illustrative editorial story, not a verified account of a specific find, an appraisal or a claim of historical significance. Descriptions of the imagined jewellery do not establish ownership, provenance or monetary value.

Storage cases are presented for organisation of personal belongings. Their compartments and design are not representations that the products are certified burglar-resistant, fire-resistant or suitable substitutes for safes. Users should independently consider any security arrangements appropriate for especially valuable property.

Text, illustrations and model descriptions should be read as part of the information offered for review before a potential purchase, not as independent professional advice about found property or valuables.

3. Products, models and prices

The models presented are Edition Compact, Folio Case and Heritage Chest. Each has a different storage format and a corresponding displayed amount in Canadian dollars. A product choice should be based on the type of collection and the number and shape of items you plan to organise.

Displayed product prices are reference amounts for the selected models. Availability, applicable sales taxes, any delivery charges, methods of payment and any product-specific conditions must be confirmed and provided for review before a purchase is completed.

A request does not reserve inventory or guarantee delivery. Where a material product description or price requires correction, it must be clearly addressed before the customer agrees to a final order.

4. Enquiries and formation of an agreement

Selecting a model and completing the enquiry form is a request for confirmation of an intended purchase, not an immediate payment, binding acceptance or automatic completed sale. The customer may review and change the selected model before submitting the request.

A final sales agreement should identify the item, quantity, total price, applicable taxes and shipping charges, payment method, delivery arrangements and any relevant restrictions. The customer must have a meaningful opportunity to review the details, correct mistakes and expressly agree before a purchase becomes binding.

No payment card details are requested in the case enquiry form. Do not provide a card number, banking password or other sensitive financial information in the general message field.

5. Payment, delivery and practical information

If a separate purchase is agreed, the agreed payment method and timing will be communicated in the final terms. Any delivery time or shipping arrangement should be stated in that confirmation rather than inferred from the website’s editorial presentation.

A customer should notify the company promptly about a delivery discrepancy, damage or an incorrect item, giving a description sufficient to identify the issue. Any remedies will be considered under the agreed contract and applicable consumer law.

Responsibility for the safekeeping of jewellery, watches and other items remains with the owner. Appropriate storage depends on the particular items, their condition and the physical environment.

6. Cancellations, returns and refunds

An enquiry can be withdrawn before a binding purchase is made. Once a purchase is completed, cancellation and return rights depend on the agreed terms and the mandatory law applicable to that transaction. General change-of-mind returns are not universally required by Ontario law.

For information on a proposed return, damaged item or order discrepancy, read the Refund & Returns Policy and contact the company. Nothing here limits remedies that cannot legally be excluded under consumer protection legislation.

If an internet agreement is formed, applicable disclosure, correction, delivery-of-agreement and cancellation rules must be respected. Where those requirements create a statutory right to cancel, those rights continue to apply notwithstanding these terms.

7. Acceptable use and content rights

Visitors may browse and read the website for personal, lawful purposes. Do not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, introduce harmful content or submit information belonging to another person without permission.

Text, visual presentation, marks and material supplied by the company may be protected by applicable intellectual property law. Website use does not grant ownership of that material or permission to republish it commercially without authorisation.

Any links to legal pages or sections of this website are provided to make information easier to find. They do not create a separate warranty or contractual undertaking.

8. Liability and events outside reasonable control

Product responsibility, consumer remedies and liability are governed by the final contract and applicable law. No term on this page excludes liability or consumer rights where exclusion is prohibited, including applicable rights relating to misleading representations or defective goods.

The company is not responsible for circumstances outside its reasonable control to the extent permitted by law, but such events do not automatically remove a customer’s statutory rights. Any material disruption affecting an agreed transaction should be communicated with appropriate next steps.

The website may be changed to improve clarity or reflect available product information. A change should not be used to retrospectively remove rights under an already formed agreement.

9. Governing law and contact

Canadian law and applicable provincial consumer protection rules govern matters to the extent required by law. For transactions connected with Ontario, applicable Ontario consumer protection requirements may apply. Nothing here requires a consumer to waive a mandatory right available in another applicable jurisdiction.

For questions about model information, an enquiry or these conditions, contact F&M Cases Ltd. at [email protected] or +18883657823. The last-updated date at the top identifies this version of the terms.
